Students need to register for the exam online at the College Board’s official website at least 4 weeks before the test date to avoid paying the late registration fee of 30 USD (700,000 VND). The SAT is usually held internationally in the months of March, May, June, August, October, November, and December.
SAT locations in Vietnam are currently only available in major cities such as Ho Chi Minh, Hanoi and Da Nang. The cost of taking the SAT is 52 USD (1.2 million VND). The fee to change the exam date or test location is 30 USD (700,000 VND).
